About The Greenhouse
A presence-centered community in eastern North Carolina
The Greenhouse is a new spiritual family with a mission to minister to the Lord, equip believers, and pursue the Great Commission until our region is transformed and the nations are reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe God’s vision for The Greenhouse is to grow into a thriving local church, a citywide prayer room, a regional revival hub, and a missions-sending center.
First and foremost, we want to host God’s presence in our midst through worship and prayer. We spend lots of time singing, praying, and going deep in Scripture. Secondly, we want to equip you to hear God’s voice, make disciples, and minister to others with the gifts God has given you. Finally, from the place of His presence, the Holy Spirit leads us into neighborhoods and nations with the Gospel.

Meet The Leaders
Matthew Lilley, Founder
For over twenty years, Matthew has served the body of Christ as a worship leader and Bible teacher. He is the founder and director of Presence Pioneers, a ministry with a vision to build day and night worship and prayer for revival that touches the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Matthew is also the author of the books David’s Tabernacle and Enjoying Prayer and hosts the Presence Pioneers podcast. He previously pioneered three houses of prayer in North Carolina and directed nationwide leadership networks with Burn 24-7 and Awaken the Dawn. He holds a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary (Greenville, NC).
Matthew and Shepard Lilley
Matthew and Shepard host Greenhouse fellowship gatherings at their home. Matthew leads the Worship Room and the Awake ENC Leaders Cohort. Shepard leads the Rooted Homeschool Co-Op and the Back to Eden Festival. They are the proud parents of four children.

Until The Greenhouse community is established enough to appoint a team of elders to govern the church, we are operating under the legal and spiritual oversight of Presence Pioneers.
Presence Pioneers, doing business as The Greenhouse, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit with an EIN of 56-2393384.
The ministry was incorporated in North Carolina in 2004 with a mission to build day and night worship and prayer for revival that touches the nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
